iRewild Little Forest Library Philippine Initiative
The Story
In a public elementary school in the Philippines, English teacher Neth Vida “Nanette” Monton faces a quiet crisis. In the early grades, one in five children cannot read.
Across many public schools, classroom libraries are rare; books are often scarce, torn, or decades out of date. In Neth’s three sections of nearly 130 students, the children who most need practice have the least to read.
Her vision is as simple as it is profound: to create a small classroom library filled with age-appropriate storybooks—so every child can hold a book of their own, every day.
Because a single book can change a child’s life. Because turning a page can turn despair into possibility
Why iRewild?
At iRewild, we believe literacy and nature-based wonder are foundations of inner transformation.
When children read daily, they grow attention, empathy, and a love that extends outward-toward each other, toward rivers and forests, toward the living Earth itself.
This pilot advances equity, well-being, and ecological curiosity-a future where how we think shapes
One Library. A Thousand Doors.
One small, well-loved library can turn quiet struggle into daily progress. And daily progress can become a lifetime of doors opening, giving every child a chance to thrive, to see the beauty of the Earth, and to stand in wonder at creation.
How You Can Help
Right now, the most powerful way you can help is through a monetary gift. Every dollar becomes a page. Every page becomes a chance. Every chance becomes a child who not only learns to read but learns to see-themselves, the Earth, and life itself.
100% of your donation will go directly toward purchasing books.
